The Racks Module is designed to allocate, organize, and track the physical location of orders in progress within the production facility. It enables systematic identification of tiles based on Processes, Sheds, Rows, and Racks, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and workflow management.
Production activities occur across multiple sheds, each containing several rows and racks. This module maps orders to their exact physical location during processing.
Module Structure
The allocation process is completed through three hierarchical steps:
- Process
- Shed
- Row Management
1. Process Management
Defines the production processes carried out within specific sheds, such as casting, molding, polishing, or packing.
Process Creation Workflow
- Navigate to the Process Module.
- Select “Add Process.”
- Enter the Process Name (e.g., Casting, Molding, Shining, Packing).
- Save the process.

2. Shed Management
Represents physical production areas where processes take place and where rows and racks are installed.
Shed Creation Workflow
- Navigate to the Shed Module.
- Select “Add Rack Shed.”
- Enter shed details, including:
- Shed Name
- Length
- Height
- Weight Capacity
- Save the shed information.

3. Row Management
Defines rows within a shed and the racks contained in each row, enabling precise location tracking.
Row Creation Workflow
- Navigate to the Row Management Module.
- Select “Add Row.”
- Enter the Row Name (typically alphabetical).
- Select the associated shed.
- Provide configuration details:
- Total number of racks in the row
- Number of tiles per rack
- Rack size
- Boxes per rack
- Tiles per box
- Save the row configuration.

Order Location Assignment
Assigning Orders to Racks
The module allows users to allocate production orders to specific physical locations.
Workflow:
- Navigate to Row Management.
- Select “Assign Order.”

- The system automatically assigns rows and racks based on available capacity and configured parameters.
